  • MFII’s first international sales office Mercury Freight America (Los Angeles, California) opened in May 2011.

  • Celebration of 20 years in the business of Cebu Branch Office

  • Became a member of Global Consolidator Alliance as the only representative in Asia in August. The Appointment of Ms. April Coching-Capitan as the new President of MFII. Same vision but new episode: MFII introduced new logo.

  • Celebration of 20th Anniversary of CWT Globelink as the Asian Global Partner of MFII since 1997.

  • Marked Mercury Freight's 20 years in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics business.

  • Acquired Beach Resort in Batangas for business and recreational activities of Mercury Freight Group.

  • Upgraded IT Systems to most updated software and latest model of hardwares for freight logistics business.

  • Mercury Freight acquired its own facility in Clark, Angeles Pampanga. Designed its three-year-business plan for continual growth.

  • Mercury Freight acquired and inaugurated its own branch office in the heart of Cebu City's commercial center.

  • Mercury Freight was certified as quality assured firm under ISO 9002 by SGS UK Ltd.

  • Mercury Freight opened logistics facility within the CALABARZON Industrial Estate.

  • Mercury Freight Commenced its campaign for ISO 9002 certification.

  • Moved to Mercury Freight Building, the company's new head office and warehouse in Paranaque City Metropolitan, Manila.

  • Celebration of 10 years in business

  • Cebu office moved to a bigger place inside the Mactan Export Processing Zone. MFII acquired a vacation house in Baquio City for the exclusive use of its employees and families.

  • The 6th provincial branch was organized in Laguna Technopark. A refleeting program was lauched for land transport in response to the demands of clientele in consolidation and flexitank business.

  • The Employees Retirement Fund was created. Group insurance and medical plans for employees were secured.

  • Inaugurated its first cargo consolidation center in Port Area, Metro Manila. The 5th provincial branch was organized in Davao. Affiliate company Wingspeed Shipping Corporation was incorporated as a breakbulk and buyer's consolidation agent.

  • Introduced the Flexitank Service to and from the Philippines in cooperation with the Transocean Distribution of United Kingdom.

  • MFFI office at Cavite Export Processing Zone was opened as the 4th provincial brance. Was again engaged by Sundt. Corp. for US$24 million airport project at the U.S. Military Base in Central Luzon.

  • Provincial offices were organized in Mariveles Export Processing Zone, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. Affiliate company "K" Line Air Service Phils., Inc. was incorporated as an international airfreight forwarder and licensed customs broker.

  • MFII became the first 100% Filipino-owned forwarding company to secure liability insurance protection form Through Transport Club of London. Acted as general agents for Speeder Container Line of Hong Kong.

  • Appointed by Sundt Corp, a US-based construction firm to handle project cargoes for the US. $26 million housing project at Clark Air Base. This was followed by signing of exclusive partnerships with agents in Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong and United Kingdom.

  • MERCURY FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL, INC. was incorporated as a licensed customs broker and cargo consolidator.
